Narrative
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. The show deserves a higher rating; but cutting the season into 6 episodes just to make 2 seasons was a terrible decision on the part of whoever made it.
To name a few
I understand that cliffhangers are all the rage; but how many times have shows not been renewed and people who enjoy the show have been disappointed? I can’t count on one hand how many shows I’ve found fascinating; but ended with an unresolved cliffhanger.
My Name Is Earl, Ash VS
Evil Dead and Last Man On Earth; but I could list so many more (if only to meet the stupid 600-character requirement). Viewers who invest time in these shows are losing out, and it happens all too often these days.
