Basically, they own the land and secure leases to drill for oil and gas
Generally, a landowner’s job is to negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners who hold mineral rights to lease those rights to a company they represent. As foremen on a construction site, they build roads, living quarters for workers (man-camp), assemble digging machines and drill the well themselves, especially in remote areas.

They are also part fixer, problem solver and helper. So far the show is good very good, one feeling I can’t shake is my daughter.
Shower scene, talk about sex with dad, showing her butt!
In the show they claim the daughter is 17 and then sexualize her in an extreme way! All of those scenes have 0 to do with the storyline and make for uncomfortable viewing.
I wish they would rewrite her charter and not understand how it got into the editors
I understand what they are doing with the character, the daughter is on the wrong path and her dad is going to set her on the right path. Could have been easily avoided by just stating she was 18, you can be 18 and still in high school!
