Sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender (2022). Plot unknown. According to James Cameron, the Avatar sequels were such a huge undertaking that he split the three scripts between Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno. Cameron goes on to explain the story progression: “I think we met for seven months and shot every scene of the movie together, and I didn’t assign each writer which movie they were going to work on until the last day. I knew that if I assigned them scripts in advance, they would come up every time we talked about the next movie.”. Followed by Avatar 4 (2029)
